Our services
Harassment Order .com provides attorney-reviewed preparation packets for Massachusetts G.L. c. 258E harassment-prevention-order hearings. Information on this Site and from the AI intake assistant is general in nature, is not legal advice, and should not be relied upon as legal advice. No outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Attorney-client relationship
Using this Site, the AI intake assistant, or contacting us by phone or text does not create an attorney-client relationship, and no legal advice is provided through those channels. A limited-scope attorney-client relationship is formed only when you select a paid tier (Solo, Guided, or Emergency), accept our Limited-Scope Engagement Agreement, submit payment, and the Firm accepts your matter after a conflict check. At that point legal advice is delivered through your attorney-reviewed packet and any included consultation. Please do not send confidential case details until that relationship is established.
Fees and refunds
Paid tiers are charged as flat fees stated at checkout. Payment is held in the Firm’s IOLTA client trust account under Mass. R. Prof. C. 1.15 and is not earned until the Firm accepts your matter and begins work. If the Firm cannot accept your matter after its conflict check and review, you receive a full refund. Once your packet has been delivered, the flat fee is earned. Full terms are in the Limited-Scope Engagement Agreement.
SMS / text messaging program
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from The Law Office of Patrick T. Donovan / Harassment Order .com related to your matter, including hearing-date reminders, packet-ready notifications, scheduling links, and return-call coordination. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call (617) 479-1800. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving legal services. This Site and its automated services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Firm is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, the intake assistant, or text messaging.
